I click,link,visit..click,link,visit.. and then a new painting. I have a very important question-what kind of doggie is this? It looks so much like Mab the Wienerhead who lives with us.
Its a beautiful portrait and I like dogs better than people.

Hi Ron, I know, I'm slow. I just noticed it has been exactly 20 days since my last post. So much for a painting a day. HA!

This painting and Oscar's fuzzy mug are both of my Miniature Pinschers. They are like tiny versions of Doberman Pinschers on crack. Very high strung and tough.

Thanks for the compliment. I like dogs better than people, too.

Michelle - Great work here. I found you through Ron Morrison's Blog.

Your comment about Miniature Pinschers made me smile. I could never stay mad at my son but on the occasions where I was and I was giving him "what-for" he would always say that I was like a Chihuahua on crack when I got mad.

Thanks for the memory -

Miniature Pinschers, those are cool little dogs, and these paintings are great.
A painting a day?!?! I could never pull that off unless I totally changed the way I work on all levels.
I'll have to check that site out and see what's going on there....

Mike,
Thanks! I couldn't pull off the painting a day either. I thought I could if I did ATC's or something about that small, but nope. It just was too much.

These are lovely. Are you selling them? Seems there would be a market, either as "portraits" (which is a huge market) or as just art.

Thanks, Connie. Since the first three paintings in this series is of my own dogs, they aren't for sale. Doing commisions of other people's dogs would be an option, though.

Michelle, your dog paintings are like photos they are done so well - and each has it's own personality, like little people - you are a watercolor goddess!
