Illustration Friday - "Garden"

Butterflies and Flowers, 18" X 24" Transparent WC on Arches CP paper.
For Illustration Friday.
When I first saw a picture of a Madagascar Sunset Moth, I didn't think it was real. They have nearly every color of the rainbow on their wings. They're just beautiful. That was the inspiration for this painting.

Your work has such a photorealistic quality. Very delicate. You must be very, very patient. Effective imagery and good color choices. Beautiful.

Wow Michelle,

This is friggin' awesome! I'd definitely make this into a poster or something. A series would be great too... I like your new header pic, I'm trying to come up with one for my blog...
